Scammers

Like the title says, I've been dealing with a lot of scammers all the time. As my account grows and I connect with more people I've noticed that there are more scammers than real buyers.

The first time I met a scammer was the first day when I started selling feet pictures. He offered me $400 each week for 20 foot photos. It surprised me and I asked if he was serious. He showed me some proof of other transactions,so I agreed. He sent me money through PayPal but then I got a message saying I needed to pay a fee before getting the $400. Since I didn't know PayPal well I paid $50 but I didn't get the money yet. Later I saw that I paid a fee but got no money and then he blocked me. I lost 50 euros. After that more people tried the same scam. I noticed that these scammers show up when you work with hashtags. For example, the moment you add #feet to your photo, you will receive all kinds of requests from (often) elderly American men without photos on their page saying they offer a weekly allowance for feetpictures in return.

Another way scammers work is by acting really nice (not every nice person is a scammer). They start chatting and seem interested in our community. Some are truly nice and I don't mind talking about feet with them. They say they're new and curious. For instance, a guy said he's new and has a sneaker fetish. He asked about my shoes, how often I wear them and if I wear them without socks. At first I talked, thinking he might buy my shoes. But then he asked for pictures. I sent some but he wanted more. I said he needed to pay and then he never replied anymore. Now I limit talking if someone asks too many questions and I try to subtly ask if they are planning to buy anything. Otherwise, unfortunately, I can't keep talking for to long.

When my followers grew I wanted to be a product promoter and work with brands to sell their shoes, socks and more. I sent emails but got no replies. After a few days a company messaged me on Instagram. They wanted to collaborate and wanted me to wear their stuff. They said I could pick 5 things but only pay the shipping which was 30 euros since it came from America. I didn't think much and paid. I got an email confirmation. Later, 2 more companies messaged, same story. I paid their shipping too. After a week I got nothing and their Instagram accounts were gone. I tried their websites but nothing. I got scammed 3 times. So stupid of myself but I learned from it. Now I google all the opening scentences and find all the scamms.

It's both ways. Customers also worry about scammers so they're careful. They need to know I'm real just like I need to know they're real buyers. Both sides are scared of losing time or getting scammed. If someone's really interested they should tell me and I'll be interested too. I try to be open and trustworthy for buyers and other girls in this work. I'm always here to help everyone.

Hi Tara!
It sounds so familiar! I wanted to be a foot model too, so I started with watching YouTube and they talked about scammers too!
Always the ones with the picture of some old dude 🫣.
Luckily most people are very supportive and nice 🥰
Your blogs are fun to read, keep up the good work!

Ja, ik ben er ook wel eens ingetuind. Aanbetalen, en dan voor nopes ergens verschijnen. Ben sindsdien echt op mijn hoede, beetje vervelend. Gelukkig heb ik ook goede en fijne ervaringen.
